He´ll never stop, he´ll always try,
to get back what he lost, and what still makes him cry.

He cries over her, the girl he once had.
the girl he has tried to forget about, but every effort has only ended up bad.

He hopes to god, hopes that she knows,
how he feels when that scary but well know feeling unfolds.

He wants only her, the girl that he had,
the girl that made his day, and was so wonderful, that it made him go completely mad.

He has tried to forget, he has tried so hard,
to leave her alone, because she, his beautiful angel, deserves a good start.

He misses these small things, that existed when she was there.
The moments he watched her, when he almost thought he saw her back, and her wings, that shined stronger everytime he saw her focus that stare .

He leanes over his bed in the mornings, and is drawn back to reality,
because she isn´t there, she´s gone, running from the guy that never had thought he would fall for a thing like infidelity.

It had happened, and he had cried,
he had been stupid, but still, to her, he just couldn´t lie.

He would never forget, the look on her face,
the look that shut him out, and the way that her sad eyes just glazed.

He had told her he was sorry, but he wouldn´t let her take him back,
because she was worth so much better, someone great, someone who would never fall for things like that.

His arms are not for anyone else, his touches are meant for her,
he wants her to be there to feel them, and to make him never hurt her anymore.

Because he wont, he will never go back,
to the that place, so hopeless, dark, and black.

Now he sits there, all alone,
watching the picture, the light in her eyes, that´s never gonna be gone.

She´s telling him something, like she wants him to dare.
Dare him to do something, that his heart wont do because of the fear.

He looks again, and then he´s gone,
because he simply can´t risk, never hearing that song.

The song it tells him, to let it go,
it was stupid, he was stupid, the decisions he made that night, yes, they were wrong.

But you can´t always do what´s right,
if the outcome of you fallowing the rules is wrong.

So you simply have to dare,
dare to take that step, and let yourself be there, be there all along.

She´s only hurting, cos´ he´s gone,
she´s paying for his actions, and that´s even more wrong.

She´s worth the love, that she can get,
cos´she´s an angel, and something has to make her wings lift.

He´s gonna make her, make her fly,
and if she does fall,
she´s never gonna do it, simply because
HE NEVER HAD THE COURAGE TO TRY.
